Dr. Grossman grew up in Augusta, Georgia showing hunter jumpers and later took a liking to eventing and hunter paces. Her family owned several horses growing up. One in particular made the most lasting impact on her life. A large gray pony named Woody. Woody was 5 years old and Dr. Grossman was 8 years old when her parents gifted her this seemingly dreamy pony. Unfortunately, Woody came with a heavy load of baggage after years of abuse and neglect. This challenge inspired Dr. Grossman to truly devote herself to the wellbeing of horses. Later in life, Woody proved himself to be the gift that kept on giving with several major medical problem that Dr. Grossman learned from and soon developed a passion for veterinary medicine. Thanks Woody!
